Which CPR course do I need?
It depends on your industry, risk level, and certification requirements. Most low-risk workplaces only need CPR & AED training, while higher-risk environments often require First Aid to meet OSHA requirements.
Courses focused on children are designed for anyone working with elementary-school-aged kids or younger, and anyone in health, medical, or emergency response fields will need BLS certification. Not sure which course fits your needs? Reach out and we'll help you decide.
What's covered in your CPR and First Aid courses?
Every course covers CPR, AED use, choking relief, opioid overdose response, and Good Samaritan law protections, with the exception of our Accelerated Hands-Only CPR/AED course.
Course content is tailored to the age groups you need — teen, adult, child, infant, or a full combined course. Optional First Aid packages are also available for coaches, gyms, manufacturing, warehouses, and service companies.
Do you offer virtual or hybrid CPR training?
Yes! We offer three training formats to fit your schedule:
- Traditional — 100% in-person instruction.
- Hybrid — self-paced online modules followed by a quick in-person skills session.
- Virtual — online learning followed by a live virtual skills evaluation.
What accreditations do you teach?
CPR 2 YOU is a triple accredited national training center. We are accredited to teach through:

Is your certification accepted by OSHA, employers, and state boards?
Yes. All of our certifications meet OSHA requirements and are accepted by employers, state boards, and local, state, and federal government agencies.
How quickly can we get certified?
Often the same day. Our goal is to make certification as convenient and flexible as possible — you tell us when and where, and we'll be there.
How long does CPR certification last?
Certifications are valid for two years. Some industries — like NYS youth coaching — require annual CPR refreshers even if your certification hasn't expired yet, so it's worth checking your specific requirements.

Yes! We train on-site at businesses, schools, churches, homes, events, parks — wherever you need us.
What areas do you serve?
We're headquartered in Buffalo, New York, we serve all of New York, and operate in all 50 states with a nationwide network of instructors. We also cover some areas in Canada!
Do you provide equipment, mannequins, and AED trainers?
Yes. We're a full-service training provider and bring everything needed for class, including mannequins, AED trainers, and materials. All you need to provide is the space.
What's the minimum or maximum number of students?
There's no minimum — classes can be as small as one student. Maximum group size depends on the course, certification requirements, and the space available for training.
Can you train large groups, like 50 or 100+ people?
Absolutely. We've trained groups of over +200 students. Classes can be held as 1 large group or split into multiple sessions to fit your needs.
How long does a CPR course take?
It depends on the course, format, and whether First Aid modules are added. We recommend you schedule a minimum of 2 hours for any CPR courses or 1 hour for our Hands-Only CPR/AED course.
How much does on-site CPR training cost?
Pricing depends on the course, format, and number of students, with discounts for larger groups. Full courses start around $50 per person, and Hands-Only CPR starts around $25 per person. Flat-rate pricing is also available.
Do you offer recurring or annual training contracts for businesses?
Yes! Many of our clients train multiple times a year or renew every two years! The relationship we build makes scheduling and logistics even easier, and preferred pricing is available for your organization. We also send a reminder a few months before your certification expires so you can get your next class on the calendar.
Do you offer free CPR courses?
Yes! We host free public CPR courses monthly — they're posted on our calendar and fill up quickly. We also occasionally offer free on-site courses; availability may vary.
Do you sell AEDs?
Yes, CPR 2 YOU is an authorized AED seller. All the devices we carry are FDA-approved and will help your organization improve safety and meet OSHA workplace safety goals.
Do you manage device compliance?
Yes! Take one more thing off your plate and let us manage your AED's rescue readiness. We will track and maintain your device to ensure strict compliance, giving you the peace of mind that your AED is fully functional and ready to save a life when it matters most.
